AgriLab Technologies offers an intriguing option for capturing heat, carbon dioxide and ammonia from an aerated static compost pile to provide to an onsite greenhouse. This technology could be used with an existing greenhouse or composting operation. There are several of these systems currently operating on dairies in Vermont. Newtrient will continue to work with Agrilab Technologies to further refine the cost and performance information as more information comes in with new commercial dairy installations.
