IEC Covers - Covered Lagoons

Company Description:

Industrial & Environmental Concepts, Inc., (IEC), is widely recognized as the worldwide leader in the design, fabrication, and installation of industrial cover and liner systems. Incorporated in 1993, IEC has established itself as the industry leader in the modular and insulated cover market. IEC helps farmers generate electricity and control odors by collecting their bio-gas.

Technology Description:

Industrial & Environmental Concepts (IEC) designs and installs agricultural gas collection covers, waste-water covers, odor control covers, bio-gas systems, pond liners and methane capture for manure lagoons and tanks. IEC's manure handling systems are custom designed for dairy producers. The lagoon covers provide the dairy producer an effective and low maintenance solution to covering their manure pits. The bio-gas collected from our manure cover systems can be flared or used to generate electricity. The gas collection covers seal manure lagoons and tanks, converting them into anaerobic digesters. The bio-solids from the anaerobic digesters can be used as an effective and affordable fertilizer. The fertilizer produced is in a form that is readily assimilated by crops that are commonly grown by dairy farmers.
