quasar has 15 operational digesters, each of which accepts a wide variety of organic feedstocks.  Several of these digesters accept dairy manure as part of the feedstock blend. quasar’s systems are mechanized and automated which minimizes direct labor requirements. There is limited data available on the capital and O&M costs as quasar systems are typically built, owned and operated by quasar.

Newtrient will continue to work with quasar to further refine the cost and performance information as more information comes in with new commercial dairy installations.
