Biogas Corporation – Project Developer

A leading developer of anaerobic digester projects in the USA

Company Description:

BioGas Corp developed 5 anaerobic digester projects, before the company was launched as a spin-off from Orbit Energy. All 5 projects involve production of power from food scraps generated by commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities. Additionally, BioGas Corp’s management team is continuing its business model of developing anaerobic digestion projects ranging in size from 3 to 10 MW under long-term power purchase agreements with major utilities and/or industrial customers and has 6 additional projects in various stages of development. Presently, Biogas Corporation is developing projects with anaerobic digesters and other technologies that produce pelletized solid products from dairy and poultry manures, as well as co-digested organic substrates.

Technology Description:

Biogas Corporation is a project developer that specializes in projects which are tailor made to the specific region, project, and/or farm. Biogas Corporation will use a host of available technologies in a systems approach to produce multiple co-products to maximize financial feasibility and response to project needs. These co-products include value-added uses of the biogas and value added uses of solid and liquid streams such as pelletized compost and fertilizers.
