IEC Covers – Gas Storage

About the Company:

Industrial & Environmental Concepts, Inc., (IEC), is widely recognized as the worldwide leader in the design, fabrication, and installation of industrial cover and liner systems. Incorporated in 1993, IEC has established itself as the industry leader in the modular and insulated cover market.

About the Solution:

Ground level Gas Storage is used when a tank is not available or with site requirements that have a height restriction. Gas storage vessels are available in a wide range of volumes for high and low output sites. Ground mounted storage tanks are anchored to a concrete foundation with tank mounted covers fastened to the top of the tank wall, both designs are available in variable diameters. A blower controls the pressure on the external membrane with the inner membrane height affected solely by bio-gas. A service box enables all connections to be above ground providing access. The blower, control unit and sensors are also accessible during operation.

Every component is constructed of the high quality components and are guaranteed. Depending upon geomembrane type, the seams are made with high-frequency or thermal welding.

With multiple designs available - the Gas Storage Dome is available in ½ or ¾ spherical domes.
