JAECO Fluid Systems – Metering Pumps and Valves for Agriculture
American Made Pumps Trusted By Generations For Generations
About the Company:
At JAECO Fluid Systems, they manufacture plunger pumps, diaphragm pumps and check valves that are designed to stand the test of time. Their products are 100% made in Pennsylvania from high quality American materials and they’re used around the world in a variety of agricultural and process piping applications because of their extreme durability and longevity. JAECO metering pumps are designed for accurate, trouble-free metering of difficult-to-handle liquids.
About the Solution:
JAECO AGRI-FRAM agricultural diaphragm pumps are hydraulically actuated diaphragm metering pumps specially designed for irrigation, fertigation, and chemigation agricultural applications. They offer accurate, completely leak-proof metering of liquids. Separate chambers for hydraulic fluid and gear lubricant make possible the use of the best medium for hydraulic diaphragm pulsing and the best medium for gear lubrication. The results are better pump performance and longer pump life. This diaphragm pump is available in both simplex and duplex models and is field-convertible from simplex to duplex.
Solution Strengths, Weaknesses and Critical Indicators
NOTE: There are multiple technologies that are used as part of integrated manure management systems and yet are not manure management types on their own. The impact of these technologies on their own would be minimal or very difficult to quantify.
General Support & Other:
- Can be an integral part of many manure management systems
- Most projects have at least some equipment that supports operations of the main technology
- This technology is not evaluated on its own, the NEAT Matrix for this technology is neutral unless utilized with other technologies.
JAECO has recently been added to the Newtrient catalog. Newtrient will continue to work with JAECO to further refine the cost and performance information on their solution. Newtrient will update this entry as more information becomes available and as new commercial dairy installations come online.
