About the Company:

Roeslein Alternative Energy (RAE) was launched in 2012 by Rudi Roeslein, co-founder and CEO of St. Louis based Roeslein & Associates (a global leader in engineering, modular fabrication, and construction of industrial plant facilities). They own, operate and develop renewable energy production facilities that convert agricultural and industrial wastes, along with biomass feedstocks to renewable natural gas and sustainable co-products. RAE engages in these business operations with a focus on incorporating native prairie restoration.

About the Solution:

The same Biogas Upgrading Systems Roeslein uses in their own projects are now available as discrete units, with pre-integrated measurement tools for swift monetization. Manufactured in Red Bud, Illinois, all Roeslein's Biogas Upgrading Systems meet domestic material requirements to earn a full 40% Investment Tax Credit.

Roeslein's Micro System ranges from 25 to 400 SCFM. Like the Mid-Size System, it comes equipped with integrated feed and product measurement tools that meet current Renewable Fuel Standard and Low Carbon Fuel Standard program requirements, along with a data historian to measure output over the lifetime of the system.

Anaerobic Digester Associated Technology:

NOTE: There are several technology types that are used as part of an integrated manure management system that includes an anaerobic digester and are not applicable to manure management in other cases. The impact of these technologies on the critical indicators are represented as those of an entire anaerobic digester system.

REA has been very active in the swine industry and has learned many of the hard lessons that go with owning and operating AD systems. They are now looking for partners in the dairy industry to work with on projects that they would develop and remain partners in.
