Roeslein Alternative Energy – Turnkey Project Development

Green for the Environment and the Bottom Line

About the Company:

Roeslein Alternative Energy (RAE) was launched in 2012 by Rudi Roeslein, co-founder and CEO of St. Louis based Roeslein & Associates (a global leader in engineering, modular fabrication, and construction of industrial plant facilities). They own, operate and develop renewable energy production facilities that convert agricultural and industrial wastes, along with biomass feedstocks to renewable natural gas and sustainable co-products. RAE engages in these business operations with a focus on incorporating native prairie restoration.

About the Solution:

Turnkey Project Development - Roeslein Alternative Energy Projects produce Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) transportation fuel from organic waste. They then deliver RNG to a growing market of customers seeking alternative energy sources that are sustainable — ecologically and economically.   But more importantly they provide completely integrated solutions by:

  • Listening to the unique needs of each customer
  • Using best-in-class suppliers
  • Orchestrating business, finance and technical aspects of all phases of project development
RAE delivers it all so customers can concentrate on their core business. RAE starts with rigorous front end planning, feasibility studies, and concept definition and manages the project all the way through facility operations. Their objective is to ensure that the finished project is successful through its initial 20 year plant cycle and beyond.

REA has been very active in the swine industry and has learned many of the hard lessons that go with owning and operating AD systems. They are now looking for partners in the dairy industry to work with on projects that they would develop and remain partners in. Newtrient will continue to work with and monitor the progress of the REA system in the dairy industry and continue to report as more information about this solution in a dairy setting becomes available.
