General Environmental Science (GES) – LLMO S-1
Biological Wastewater Treatment & Industrial Wastewater Treatment Solutions
About the Company:
General Environmental Science, Inc. (GES) is a worldwide developer and manufacturer of bacterial based products for wastewater treatment. Their products are designed to increase the efficiency of biological wastewater treatment systems and eliminate many of the problems encountered in industrial wastewater treatment.
While GES initially specialized in bacterial products for municipal wastewater treatment, over time GES developed products and technologies to improve all types of wastewater treatment, including municipal wastewater treatment, industrial wastewater treatment, aquaculture wastewater treatment and lake and pond remediation.
Their Municipal wastewater treatment technologies include sludge reduction, effluent improvement, and nitrification. Their other wastewater treatment technologies include grease reduction, septic system treatment and algae reduction. GES’ technologies are used in wastewater treatment applications around the world. Additionally, GES is the holder of four patents related to bioaugmentation.
About the Solution:
The LLMO product line includes six specialized bacterial formulations. While each of the six LLMO products is best at degrading certain types of wastes, a mixture of bacterial species is included in each product to provide optimal treatment efficiency.
LLMO products can be used by pouring the product directly into the waste being treated. This is the simplest method and often is quite effective. However, for the best results, LLMO should be used with an Automatic Bacterial Injection (ABI) system.
LLMO S-1 is the product most often used for sludge treatment in lakes, ponds, and wastewater treatment plants. This broad-based product hydrolyzes a wide variety of organic solids.
