About the Solution:

Venture provides a full wrap EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) solution for renewable and industrial projects. The EPC approach provides developers, owners and project financed projects with a single point of contact throughout the project execution phase which includes guarantees on price, schedule and plant performance which reduces financial risks to the developer/owner. EPC projects are multidisciplinary in nature, and efficient construction management coupled with a continual focus on Health Safety and Environment are key success factors.

Most of their EPC work is negotiated and it often starts during the earliest days of a developer/owner’s project development cycle. Their in-house engineering and design team can take an idea and put it to paper in quick fashion, following the phased Front End Loading approach, or FEL process. They provide various total installed cost estimates at each phase of the FEL process (FEL1, 2 & 3), and the owner/developer has direct involvement along the way. All of which, are done on a full open book basis until the project reaches financial close. At financial close, the books are closed and the project is executed on a Lump Sum basis with guaranteed performance.

Venture is flexible in their approach to compensation during the development phase. Venture can do the development engineering and estimating on a fee basis, or they can defer all such costs, or a portion thereof, until the project reaches financial close and a Notice to Proceed is provided to Venture. The latter approach separates Venture from most EPC contractors but does require a commitment from the developer/owner up front to commit to the Venture team at financial close.

For biogas to RNG or Power projects, Venture has significant experience with all major vendors and remains technology neutral. They have worked on membrane plants, PSAs, amines, solvent and water wash processes, and we have worked with all major genset manufactures as well
